Zakopane, I'm happy to be here.

Day by day it's getting harder for me to write about my experience in Zakopane and the Polish Tatars mountains. But at this moment 13-6-2016 11:28 Am,  I'm sitting at nice Cafe, at the third floor enjoying each moment of the view of the mountains, well some i can't  see…it's a foggy day.

Almost one month I’m away from home, Haifa, Israel. A quick brief what i had done so far and then in other posts will write more details about it.
15-5-2016 quick and short trip Slovakia focusing at the Slovak Tatras mountains.
18-5-2016 i head off to Zakopane in south Poland to volunteer at a hostel.
3-6-2016 until 7-6-2016 quick trip to Berlin from Zakopane visiting friends.

23-6-2016 i will pick up a group from back home to guide them in Slovakia (off-road) with travel agency Jeep and Travel.

some pics….
OK now lets back to talk a bit about this lovely village. Zakopane, in south Poland have a unique mixture that i was looking for, Nightlife and Nature. Quite often when i travel i like to find spot and to have these 2 things Nightlife and Nature.
Nightlife here very mixed and interesting, many places to hangout to grab a beer and to dance, all week! Many different styles, hard to pick the most one i liked, but i will go to say “Europejska”. Keep calm and wait to my post later about nightlife in Zakopane.

Nature, I'm not used to that much to surrounded by mountains, green and high trees. Just 2 minutes walk from the hostel i volunteer i can start a nice hike in the polish Tatras mountains, so far i reached 4 peaks and I'm looking forward to more, i want to reach the highest one but doesn't look i could do it now! I'm kind started to know what i want, to be in the nature, to hike and to reach mountain peaks in the world, I'm happy that I'm here because for beginner its perfect and good start. Again, keep calm and wait to other post in the future about the Hiking in the polish Tatras mountains.

img_20160523_102453.jpgI end up to be in Zakopane, because after the first group i had until i will have the second group to guide in Slovakia, plenty of free time, a bit more than one month, i made some search how to spend my time until i found volunteering at a hostel in Zakopane, and I'm happy to end up in Zakopane, i could say i feel home.

My local experience is great here, one of my things i like, its to watch people while I'm at a bar, at cafe or also while walking, i got to know how they dance, how they hangout, what they like to eat and so on, and it's because most of the tourist here are local tourists from the Poland, so in that way you will you will
feel the local vibe to experience it.

to be traveler, travel blogger and travel guide looks it's not easy, but i will try my best to share with you my experience in writing. Oh also forgot to tell you, to add what i mention i also write handwriting diary, and i like to travel and live the moment without writing or taking pics.

More details and information will come later in different posts here in my blog, anyway i would like to follow me on Facebook where I'm more active, also you can find me on instagram and twitter.

הרי הטטרה הפולנים, יומן מסע לפסגת Kasprowy Wierch

A call for the last passengers to katowice. ….you have to come immediately to the boarding gate …Joe,  magda, marzana and me we r all eating…We just heard that call, we stand up from the table..Each one with the glass of vodka and grapefruit and we just started running.

"You almost miss the flight" the leadiy at the boarding gate said.  We enter the flight with the vodka glasses, we are in a good mood, we r not siting
Beside each other, but I have a nice company beside me.

Her story: I sitdown "boker tov"(good morning in hebrew) I said. She look at me,
She: what u just wake up?
Me: no, I always says that. But now also im in a good mood, we just finished drinking vodka.
She: ok fine, what you don't have more? Me: no, I'm sorry, but we will have here later.
We keep in our conversation, it seems, she's from Germany, we started to speak in German,  i did well :). Few mins later her other friends joined the conversation…they all study in Warsaw…me and she back to chat with each other, more like defining yourself and the place you come from. After I explained  to her about the Folan Experience, I asked her :
What u fell guilty about?
"Guilty about using blastic & how  Europe behave in the mediterranean."
For both of us we felt comfortable in this flight, we changed number before the flight land, at the time we went out of the airport, I jus told to one of her friends to say goodbye, she was in the bathroom, I didn't wait for her and I just went out with my friends.

The people are not that…..friendly, and not enough of them speak English. They have a great local beer. it's a cool city! Especially hanging out at the ruin bars that the city offers. that how I could sum my experience & opinion after spending five days in the city.

Budapest 18-22/11/14!
I left the hostel at the morning and headed off to meet two of my friends who were traveling at the same time also. They made a stop in Budapest for two days and a student from Brazil studying there was hosting them. Our first stop was to go to the central market in Budapest to get some coffee. And I also bought there some food for the next days. Our guide around the city was the Brazilian student. He took us to eat “langosh” (pita, cream cheese & cheese). 1606913_10153339703229951_2304549341499556000_n
We went for a walk along the river and climbed up to the “Buda castle”
in the Buda side. It was a nice viewpoint to see the city. While walking, we stopped to chat with other people. Then we headed off to a bar for a few beers. Later that night I had the pleasure to be invited to a dinner, where I had the chance to see how cool it is to be abroad and watch Israelis connecting with people from other countries. People that in reality are a heavily guarded border away from each other. There was a Lebanese guy that was eating in the same table with me and some Israeli friends I just met. As for the rest of my stay, I was mostly hanging out with friends I just made.

The place I was staying at – the “full moon design hostel” had some positive and negative things to it.
The location was great, but the nightclub part of the hostel was directly below the rooms. I couldn't sleep because of the noise on the first night. I felt the bass all night so I had to use ear plugs, which didn't help that much. The nightclub was working every night, and hotel guests could enter free of charge. The staff was really nice – the next day I asked for a room change and they agreed.

One of the greatest things in Budapest are the “ruin bars”. I visited two of them – “szimpla” and “fogashaz”. You must visit the both of them! A "ruin bar" is a building that has 3 floors, and supposed to have something like 6 apartments , but instead, the owners make it into a huge bar!! I can't offer a better explanation, you'll have to be there and see :).

A day before the last day I climbed up to a place where I saw the lady up in the Buda side! It's a little bit of a workout but I had to do it . That was how I found out how beautiful it is to see the city from up there. 10551087_1590212454540997_3256545134461161852_n10530751_1590212491207660_3613630514155896457_n
After that I just headed off to a spontaneous 2 hour train ride south of Budapest to Szeged in order to meet a friend before my flight back home. My rule number 1 – just be spontaneous.

If you will visit Budapest someday, don’t forget to eat “Goulash” soup and to drink the local beer “Soproni” .

I'm gonna stay in Belgrade 4 nights more :)

we got to the (i stopped writing), we stop now again i thought that now the Serbian side!!! i was wrong because the first stop it just was the enter to Bulgarian–Serbian border area!! this one now the bulgarian side, we all in the bus hop off went to put stamps to check out the country, i was the first one! mine it wasn't passing by the electronic machine, he tried few times it doesn't work (its like scanning passport machine), he said to me stop beside and to let others to pass, fine, after all he went call somebody both of them came to me, the one that came with start to ask where i'm going and why? i'm traveling and going to belgrade, ok fine have a good trip!!! hop on the bus again to the serbian side now!

the Serbian police enter the bus, i was the first one to take from the passport, he says “Israel!! aha “ and again the same question like at the Bulgarian side, he took the passport and returned after 15 minutes, the bus drive close the door and just starts driving passing the border!! I’m in Serbia i said!!

A big smile on my face, relaxed, calmed down after a long breath i holed it till this moment to be passing the border!

rossed the border !!

i hold it for three hours since i get to the international bus station in Sofia directly after my flight from Tel-Aviv, all the signs in Bulgarian didn't understand nothing the people also hardly speak English, i just and randomly an office and asked for a bus to Belgrade, she said “yeah there is one leaving in like one and half hour, give your passport to add you if you want”, i gave her, she was looking at passport page after page she said “you are Israeli and you need a visa !!” i tried to tell her the no i don't need!! few of my friends already visits there and they didn't told that they did visa!! no you need a visa she said again !! ohh okay can you call the embassies and to check with them i said, i was totally in shock both of them says yes i need a visa!! i said so what i have to do, you need to go to the Israeli embassy and it will just be open in two days !!
i just went out of this office i didn't give up i feel something wrong here! just few steps i entered another office i told the issue, she said “don't worry its gonna be alright” she checks at at document that she has at the computer and its written under Israel “no need”, i bought the ticket i was half happy half worried, until i passed the border.

When we just crossed the border, one of the drivers started to make like cigarette shop with some passengers at bus, i didn't understand that much the situation because they were talking all time Bulgarian, but for me it was funny and remind me of my bus driver that i had while guiding a group in Croatia and Slovenia a month ago, when we each time arrived to a border checkpoint, always he said when a bus stucked or just turned around: “Bulgarian are very problematic always hiding somehow something”, i think its explain enough what was going here at the bus after we pass the border.

around 21:00 i arrived to the hostel, located in the center or as i saied at the heart of the city "downtown central hostel" called, very new, great staff, and nice. chat with few people here took a shower and just pick up myself to go out, after walking and eat something i end at a entrance of place don't know yet the name i will check it out later, i started to chat with others, they accept me very nice to be with there company and just enter inside with them, inside was a Serbian live songs, a small band, smoky place, few drinks and just back to sleep to get ready for tomorrow.

for here that was the day of 10/11/14
